Date: 2018-01-01 11:31 pm (UTC)Well, I did start at a point where it could be real, like something that could possibly happen.
After the "icy years" they did warm up towards each other again (what was it - back in 2014?) and I thought it might be a good opportunity to take it that step further. π
Thanks a lot for your comment!! β€π

Date: 2018-01-05 06:55 pm (UTC)I love this so much! I love that you picked Come Back Vol 2. as the theme of this. Like... I haven't even thought about it up to now, but that title is saying a lot. Also the fact that after all this time they work together!
I love Sakumoto and their unresolved tension, especially when it gets resolved later on! I love that after all this time Jun feels still nervous around Sho and less confident than normal. And I love even more that we see the effect Jun has on Sho. So Jun had reluctantly admitted to himself that no matter what happened or what they did, his infatuation with Sho would always be a part of him. Accepting it had helped a lot, actually.
This so much β₯
But I find it even more interesting how strongly Sho reacts and how he is basically as affected by Jun as Jun is by him. Even more maybe.
How they acted on the tension and feelings between them felt so real, also the feelings afterwards. But I'm glad both of them for once decided to work something out and not run away or use excuses. Just like Jun said βBut weβre the only ones who could make it real,β Jun argued.
And OMG the description of Sho's family! Somehow this is exactly how I would picture this scene! Sho's mother seeing the practical side of it (finally someone to take care of her messy son.) Sho's sister would probably be excited. Brother shocked first but then befriending Jun. And Sakurai-father not saying anything.
AND LOL AT SHO GOING TO CHECK PENTHOUS APARTMENTS. Jun always gets his way when it's Sho ^^
Thanks so much for this story, my dear! β₯

Date: 2018-01-24 12:20 pm (UTC)I was thinking they would have some kind of arrangement with themselves to make things work, which is good - but then, when you take the distance away, it's way possible that they won't be able to stay "strong" and fall back into old feelings.
I was worried at first that Jun would latch onto the hurt and heartbreak he's experienced before - and he can be an unforgiving bitch. π But he looked right ahead very willingly, which is good, because Sho needed that extra push to get over his preoccupations.
I was pretty at awe with Sho's "weakness" for Jun, it's not quite like him to go out of his ways for someone else, let alone get involved to the point where he might get in trouble. But then, Jun is different.
For Jun, I thought he'd use the "practical" side of things. "I like him, nothing to be done about it, just keep going" - that sort of thing.
The way they rushed into it seems... very likely, but also risky. If their regrets had grown bigger, there might have been a lot of trouble. I was wondering if they'd just try to dive in right from there, but at the same time I thought that it was probsbly the only opportunity for them to make it work. Had they separated there, they probsbly would have gotten back to their old patterns and a few weeks later things might already have been... well, not forgotten, but old, I guess. And the moment Jun said to give it a go, somehow he set a new mood, a new perspective that saw a future for them together. And they both liked it. βπ
I think Sho's family is the biggest issue to tackle, but then, they do give Sho a lot of freedom to live his life to his satisfaction, so I'm very positive that they'll all be happy for them in the long run. Plus, Jun has a way of charming people. I can totally see Sho's dad trying hard to keep disliking him, but finding himself rather fond of his "almost son in law". π
I'm really glad you enjoyed this. I had a lot of fun writing it too. ππ
